a fresh beginning

hmm...a new blog for our cell. hopefully this will be easier to navigate than the last. i guess it's hard to always pen down your thoughts, put them into words that make sense and not make you laugh at yourself when you next look back at it. but i guess it's alright for everyone to write whatever that comes into mind, right here, in this blog. because that's what a family is for. to be open and honest about what you think and feel, without concealment or disguises.

i am thinking and writing alot more nowadays because i feel a need to start ordering my thoughts in the mad pace of life that we have a tendency to fall into. at least, that's what i feel as an overseas student. but i do feel that sometimes, it's really hard to even sit still to reflect upon things that matter to your heart because the real world and your heart are like two continents, two places, two unknowns that you are trying to make sense of. and in between the straddling of these two lands, you might wonder to yourself if you have even made an imprintment of your footsteps on any.

anyways, before i start writing "emo" (emotional) stuff, i just want to say that i am really glad that our cell went well last night for the first session after daniel left. not that you are any less important daniel, but that i believe it is a sign that God has His eyes upon our cell and He intends to help our cell grow and mature, with new dimensions and new perspectives in this season of trials and tests.

so let us continue to keep each other in our prayers:
for ellie- to cope well with her uni work and do well in her assignments
for june-favour with her clinical educator and doing well in her clinical placements
for grace-opportunities to go church and to be restful and still so that she can spend more time with God
for eunice-refreshment of the mind and sustenance for her body when she does night shifts and for favour and patience and endurance in difficult clinical situations in her training
for peter-opportunities to speak to more non-believers and to be a good testimony for Christ
for mingji- to be able to learn English well and to use the language to express herself and to help her grow in Christ as a new Christian
for alison- recovery from her illness and the replenishment of energy to be her usual bubbly self
for dave- favour in his work and for time to seek God, rest and enjoy life with alison:)
for daniel-favour in his new job and to be planted in a good church in sydney with people who will watch out for him and encourage him to continue to grow in Christ
for jared- favour in his work and for time to relax, cook, eat and of course, enjoying time with God, friends and family

Good Job for Everyone, We tend to forgot about JESUS is Gift from GOD, which is not by Our Work. We can remind ourself, daily life and he makes us to change when we allow him as our king of our throne. I thank you all for everones gift from GOD which is JESUS, who will use in big ways of building the kingdom of GOD.
